The manufacturer number is a unique identifier, assigned by the manufacturer of a product to distinguish it from similar parts and counterfeits. This helps manufacturers and sellers to determine and manage inventory levels and reassures buyers that they are getting the right component.
Go to the product card. Click on the “Suppliers” tab to add the manufacturer's number in the “Manufacturer numbers” field.
Enter the manufacturer number. Indicate if this is a GTIN and set its usage as the default for the product.
Adding Manufacturer numbers to a product is also possible from the shipment window. Click on the edit icon in the “Supplier num” field.
Add the manufacturer number for the selected product.
