====== Expiration dates ======

>Many products have a certain shelf life (e.g. food, medicines, chemicals, etc.) which must be taken into regard when storing and selling them. Ysell.pro provides such an opportunity. Working with expiration dates is possible on **Report** and **API** subscription plans.

>Go to the expiration date product. Under **Other**, set **Is expiration date product** to **Yes**.

>When you add an expiration date item to a shipment with the **Send to Warehouse** type, you will be able to specify an expiration date for the shipment. The **Allow prep to indicate an expiration date** option allows the Prep Center to enter an expiration date for the item in that shipment. It is necessary in case the Pre-purchase customer does not know the exact expiration date of the item.
